As summer quickly fades away, we can see autumn coming closer (well, here, not if you live in the south. Then, happy spring!). But, don't go down and truly depressed yet, it actually has some good things: trees turning beautifully into brown and red colored figures, a fresh start for school/work, the cold coming back (which we all secretly want sometimes) and getting to spend much more time at home, just doing nothing. That, can only mean more time to yourself, more time to your food.
Here are some of the recipes I've gathered around to make the best of your Autumn cooking. Happy new season!

Here are some of the recipes I've gathered around to make the best of your Autumn cooking. Happy new season!
Entrées / Appetizers:
- Grape is the quintessential autumn fruit, so why not do some easy Roasted Bread Crostini with Brie and Fresh Thyme?
- Also, all mushrooms are flourishing at the moment, right? Then have a Sake Mushrooms Recipe like right now!
- Ginger Butternut Squash Soup. Just saying that soup and cold is the perfect match.
Main Course:
- Feeling a little Asian (Bali, to be exactly) you can try out a Mango Chili Rice Salad.
- Healthy but tasty is the way with a BBQ Chicken French Breads.
- Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Lemon Cream Sauce, you know, pasta will always be delicious pasta.
- And last but not least, fish! Maybe some Salmon and Chickpea Salad?
Desserts:
- It'd definitely say it's a good time to learn how to make yoghurt.
- But maybe you can also go for the always great Double Chocolate Brownie Waffles (low fat is not right on Autumn, you know? It isn't.)
Aren't you craving to eat some of these? Mmmh, can't wait. What's your really favorite Autumn food to cook?
Sincerely,
Vera
