One more year that goes away, but a new one comes plenty of new chances and new opportunities. On early January, I always like doing a little review of the past 12 months. To look back and see all the incredible things that happened - and the not so good ones too. We all know there are highs and Iows, but that is life, right? As for me, I got to travel to new countries and new places, to meet awesome people and to enjoy the journey. In a few words, 2015 was a great year.
Australia
Basically one of the things I most enjoyed. Being able to travel across the whole world to get to Australia has certainly been an unforgettable experience to me. I got to spend over one month in there, exploring Melbourne and Sydney, visiting the famous Ayers Rock - or Uluru - and the Great Coral Reef and the Far North of Queensland. All the people I meet and all the fun I had with my family. It truly something really special.
Starting a new course
So, life goes by and I finished on June school to go back on September starting a whole new period of my education. It has been really exciting as I got to change a little what I had been doing for the last years, I now have subjects I'm really passionate with and on the way, I have met more people! It has just been going for a few months but I am really keen to see what's coming.
Europe Travels
In Europe is where I live, and around Europe is where you'll most likely find me exploring cities, secret places, museums, nature and everything in between. On February I was in Madrid with my school - and my friends, which was an awesome experience as I got to discover a lot of Spain's history and art. Later on I was in the South of France (where I had the best coulants of my life, by the way). We visited Montpellier, Carcassone, Avignon and a few more small towns in the area. Portugal is a classic, as it is always nice to see the family there. And last, but not least, I was in Amsterdam for the very first time! Such a beautiful city, with the canals, and the boats and those gorgeous houses and architecture.
The Ultimate Book Of
Sometimes exciting opportunities come your way, without really knowing why or how, but I got this one. I was offered to write a little story related with travel and so I did and then boom - it was published in a book! It goes by the name "The Ultimate book of Travel Experiences" and its a collection of mine and other briefs stories related to the theme. Check it out because it really is awesome;)

New York
One of the perks of having your family spread around the world is that you get a really good excuse to travel and experience different events all over the globe. My dear cousin Nicky got married last October and so we went to New York for a long weekend to celebrate with her. It was nice to spend time with the family I have abroad, as I don't get to see them as often as I would lie to. And plus, we discovered a lot of new places in the city! That was a win win win.
Instagram
It had to eventually happen, and it did. I got Instagram! It turned out to be a great experience and I love browsing through wonderful instagram accounts with gorgeous pictures.

New friends, old friends
As one more years goes by, it means one more year of celebrating with your friends and family. I have been lucky to meet some extraordinary people on my journey, that have inspired me in so many different ways. It has been nice to keep some friends I have had for years and to meet some more. And not to forget I have been able to spend quite a lot of time with my family, visiting some that might be far away! So, coming to an end, thank you to everyone that has made my 2015 so amazing, and fun and beautiful. I truly appreciate it.
WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR 2015?
Sincerely,
Vera
