A

to

the
best
Ice Creams
in
the
city.
Summer can get pretty hot in Barcelona, and, what is better to battle heat than a good fresh ice cream? But seriously, with the Mediterranean weather we have, you could actually go for an ice cream every day of the year without freezing after it. Therefore, here comes a list of my favorite spots to go for this delicious dessert!
El Tio Ché.
A classical at 'las Ramblas del Poblenou'. They offer various tastes, which change every day, and they are all pretty delicious. But besides having some really good artisan ice creams, they do also serve horchatas. This is a typical drink for the summer which is made out of chufa (not really sure what that actually is but check it on wikipedia), and they are really good at doing them.

Dino.
On a more chain site, Dino is a traditional gelato place that you can find all around Catalonia, having various shops in Barcelona. If you want some fresh dessert and you come across one of this, don't even hesitate! They do have some delicious fresh ice cream and in most stalls, they do also have many, many different tastes.

Las Ramblas.
Yes. The most famous street in barcelona does also have some really good ice creams. Right before the flower stroll, and right next to when it starts at Plaça Catalunya, there are various stalls which offer many many various ice creams. So dfeinitely, hot day walking around? Direct yourself to this busy street and treat yourself with some funny tastes like 'Blue Smurfs' or Kinder Egg.

Belgious.
As they say, Belgious is an unusual and exotic and delicious way to eat ice cream. It's a journey, rather than a dessert. And besides being able to find over 30 flavours, they also offer waffles, crepes, juices and shakes! What else could we ask for? There are two found in Barcelona, one in the Gothic Quarter and the other in Poblenou.

Delacream.
Working on some of the best Italian gelato, DelaCream could be described as almost heaven. Found in Enrique Granados 15, pretty near the centre in Plaça Catalunya, it's a stop you should surely do to try their creamy and artisan ice creams.

Vioko.
Let me say Vioko is not only an ice cream shop, but an entire experience. Found at Passeig Sant Joan de Borbó, right next to the beach of La Barceloneta, it is definitely your choice if you are having a sea day. Try out their different ice creams and do not forget to taste their chocolate! So good.

'Gelateria Artigianale Italiana', and of coursethey offer some traditional -and delicious- ice cream at street of Llibreteria 7 in the Gothic Quarter. They have some really cool flavours and an awesome presentation. Definitely somewhere you should go and give it a try.
