Palo Alto Market

Do you remember when I told you all the cool things you could do in Barcelona in February? So, I did one of them! Took a visit to the Palo Alto Market. And. it. Was. Amazing.
Started last December, Palo Alto is an old building at Diagonal Mar (yeay, next to the beach) which was reconstructed into a vintage zone in which every first weekend of the month - next one 7/8 March! - they prepare it to held Palo Alto Market.  Based on the usual concept of street market, it was reinvented to create a place full of design, creativity and sophistication.

My time there. When we first wanted to go there in the morning, there was an endless line that turned around the corner, and the next corner, and then the next street. So many people there! Therefore, we decided that we shall go have lunch with our friends (lucky ones who got to skip the cue) went they got out of there and to come back at the afternoon. And yes, it worked out well.  We only had to wait for five minutes until we made it inside, paid our 2€ entrance and just enjoy our time.
It was after the sunset, so the dark atmosphere filled with the lights was incredible. As though we hadn't planned to buy anything, We just walked around gossiping what all the stalls had: lovely Mobile covers, cute shirts, perfect design objects... everything you might be looking for.
And then was time to go to the food zone, fulfilled with awesome food trucks of croissants, crepes, and even tasty vegetables. I can ensure you that whatever your latest cravings are, they will have them (or unless you do like me and go there so late that all food had alreday run away).

The whole experience was impressive. I shall admit I had an incredible time, much more than I expected. It is admirable how they have transformed that old and creepy building into a fashion and modern street market. It is the perfect match between the pasages invaded by ivy, the cute stalls, the shiny lights and all the lovely people who works there. And a wonderful innovation to fill Barcelona with life.

If you ever get the chance, don't even doubt it at all. Go. Go and enjoy Palo Alto  Market, a beautiful paradise for design.

I won't talk for much longer as, you know what they say, a pictures is worth a thousand words -so I guess this 30 pictures are worth 30000 words? Anyway, see by yourself how lovely this design market is (and how much will you adore to go there, because you will).
