Sydney, dear Sydney. Australia's most famous has a lot to offer, and of course, good food is one thing to be looking for. I visited the town for very few days, and although I can't make a full list of which restaurants you should or should not go I certainly got which areas you should be strolling around if you want to find a nice catch. Here I go!
The Rocks
At the very centre of the city you'll find a place named 'the Rocks'. Next to the Circular Quay and none other than the Sydney Opera House, the Rocks is where you'll come across the restaurant you are looking for. From the best Japanese cuisine to the real Australian Outback Barbecue. And if you are lucky, you might even get a spot with views to the Sydney Harbor.
Tip: explore inside the little streets and you might find some nice restaurants that are just as good as the popular ones but at a much affordable price!

Sydney's Fish Market
Do you love fish and sea food? Oh, then here is where you'll want to be. The Sydney Fish Market are open every single day of the year - except for Christmas Day- from 7am to 4-5pm and it is the perfect place to get a taste of the local food. You can either buy fresh food and bring it home, or, if you don't dispose of a kitchen there are plenty of places with already of cooked meals for you to try some!
Tip: if you are not a big fish/seafood fan it is perfectly ok, although it is the specialty there is much more in there for you to eat!

Bondi Beach
Sydney's most famous surfing beach, does also offer great food. Bondi Icebergs Club is perhaps the most know one and it has an spectacular view of the beach -and the surfers. But, if your pocket is not quite ready for that price, you can always go to the hispter cafes placed along the seafront.
Tip: Bondi Beach can be quite crowded at most times of the year so make sure you ensure you have a place where to eat as soon as possible!

North Sydney
Don't think that because you have crossed Sydney's Bridge to the other side the greatness is lost. At North Sydney you'll still find some really nice and sweet restaurants where to eat. And it is a much less crowded side of the city!
Tip: as seen as both Luna Park and the Taronga Zoo are there, it is the perfect place where to bring your kids to eat, they'll surely have something for them!
