Say hello to October as it is right in the corner to kick off Autumn 2015. And it won't leave without some really great shows to offer. I know, the summer memories have long been forgotten and all we can think about is the long year of work coming. But remember the new year's goals? So of course, one of them was also enjoying and having fun. That is what this list is for, and for everyone living in Barcelona -or coming to this month-, even those who live around the world and might want to get some inspiration too! Now, this said, have a wonderful October!
Palo Alto Market
The most fashion and hipster market in town is coming back! Palo Alto in el Poblenou celebrates a new edition every first weekend of the month and for this October save the dates for 3 and 4. It's design market, where you can find quirky but stylish things for your home, nice clothes and some really good food. Check my last post about it to find out more.

The unavoidable date for sea lovers. From the 14th to the 18th at Port Vell, visit the exhibition about all the boats, water, sea and everything related. And by the way, the entrance is only 12 euros! There'll be activities for everyone, from sailing to informational classes and all kinds of things. Check it out on their website!

Market of Markets
A gastronomical fair that will bring producers, marketers, restaurants and people together. On the 23, 24 and 25th at the Cathedral n Barcelona you'll find various stalls with fresh and local products. Market life is an essential part for Barcelona, so I wouldn't miss this chance to experience it from close with all the very best showing in the same place.

Sitges Film Festival
The most famous Film Festival in the state is back! And although not being exactly in Barcelona, is right here in teh corner (30 minutes driving from the city approximately). It's exactly found in Sitges, a costal town in the south and famous for being home to various artists in the Modern and Avantgardes Era. The Festival, though, is mainly about fantasy movies and short films.
